O Jesus, true God and true man, Redeemer of the human race who thirsts for the conversion of sinners, we humbly beseech You through the Immaculate Heart of Mary and by the merits of Your own Sacred Heart, pierced for the transgressions of all men, to have mercy upon the children of Ishmael who labour under the yoke of Islam. Forgive them, O Lord, whatever they have committed against Your Church to the dishonour of Your most Holy Name, and dispel the darkness in which they are enveloped by the rays of your light. Remember the price at which You have redeemed them: the shedding of your Precious Blood. Bring them to the laver of regeneration and open to them the treasures of Your Divine Heart, so that together with us in confession of the true faith they may adore and glorify You, the eternal Word made flesh, together with the Father and the Holy Ghost, who lives and reigns forever and ever.
